Connect your AI to Forkmate

Forkmate is a remote MCP server. Add it to the AI assistant you already use, sign in once, and you can log meals just by talking — no new app to babysit.

Step 1

Copy your Forkmate MCP URL

This is the server address you’ll paste into your AI client. The same URL works everywhere.

You’ll sign in to Forkmate once when your client connects — that secure OAuth approval is what lets it log into your diary. You can disconnect any time.

Add it to your AI client

Pick your assistant and follow the steps. Don’t see yours? Any MCP-capable client works — use the generic steps.

Claude

Claude.ai, Claude Desktop & Claude Code

  1. 1Open Claude’s Settings and find Connectors (on Claude.ai or Claude Desktop).
  2. 2Choose “Add custom connector,” then paste the Forkmate MCP URL above.
  3. 3Sign in to Forkmate when Claude opens the secure login — that’s the one-time OAuth approval.
  4. 4Back in Claude, say what you ate (“a chicken burrito and a banana for lunch”) and it logs through Forkmate.

Prefer Claude Code? Add it from the terminal:

Cursor users — one-click install. Opens Cursor and adds Forkmate; you’ll still sign in once to authorize.

  1. 1Prefer to add it by hand? Open Cursor’s Settings and go to MCP (Tools & Integrations).
  2. 2Choose “Add new MCP server” and select an HTTP/SSE server.
  3. 3Paste the Forkmate MCP URL above and save.
  4. 4Complete the Forkmate sign-in when prompted, then ask Cursor to log a meal.

Connected? Just tell your assistant what you ate and check the web diary. Coming from MyFitnessPal? Your assistant can replay your export into your diary, row by row.
