Use Forkmate in Raycast

Raycast AI can install a remote MCP server with OAuth sign-in. Add Forkmate and log a meal without leaving the keyboard.

No Forkmate account yet? Create one free first. It takes under a minute, and Raycast sends you there on first connect anyway.

Set up Forkmate in Raycast

https://mcp.forkmate.ai/

Forkmate’s server URL. Streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in, no API key.

  1. 1

    Run Install MCP Server

Open Raycast and run the Install MCP Server command.

  2. 2

    Fill in the form

Name: Forkmate. Transport: HTTP. URL: https://mcp.forkmate.ai/. OAuth Type: Dynamic. Press Install MCP Server (⌘↵).

  3. 3

    Sign in to Forkmate once

Raycast opens a Forkmate sign-in in your browser. Sign in (or create your free account) and approve access. That one-time OAuth step connects it to your diary and nobody else’s.

  4. 4

    Log your first meal

In Raycast AI (mention @forkmate), say “I had two eggs and toast for breakfast.” It logs the meal with calories and macros to your Forkmate diary.

What you need

  • A free Forkmate account (sign up). There is no paid plan.
  • MCP in Raycast AI is a Raycast Pro feature.

Checked September 30, 2026 against the vendor’s documentation: Raycast manual: MCP. Raycast changes its menus often; if yours looks different, trust what it shows.

What to say first

Once it’s connected, talk to Raycast the way you’d tell a friend:

I had two eggs and toast for breakfast.

It logs the meal with calories, protein, carbs and fat to your diary at app.forkmate.ai. Then try:

  • How many calories have I had today?
  • Make the toast two slices.
  • What did I eat this week?
