Connectors sync from your account

Use Forkmate in the Claude app on your phone

Connectors belong to your Claude account, not your device. Connect Forkmate once on claude.ai or Claude Desktop and it’s there the next time you open Claude on your phone.

Easiest from a computer. On a phone the link opens claude.ai in your browser.

No Forkmate account yet? Create one free first. It takes under a minute, and Claude Mobile sends you there on first connect anyway.

Example: in Claude Mobile, with Forkmate connected

Log a flat white and a banana.

Set up Forkmate in Claude Mobile

  1. Connect Forkmate on the webOpen Forkmate’s listing in Claude’s connector directory and click Connect to Claude. Or, on claude.ai, go to Customize → Connectors → Discover, search “Forkmate” and click Connect.
  2. Sign in to Forkmate onceClaude opens a Forkmate sign-in in your browser. Sign in (or create your free account) and approve access. That one-time OAuth step connects it to your diary and nobody else’s.
  3. Open Claude on your phoneOpen the Claude app for iOS or Android signed in to the same account. Forkmate is already there.
  4. Give your OK onceThe first time you log, Forkmate asks once for your OK to store your food diary. Agree the way it asks, in the chat or through the link it gives you to agree on the web, then log the meal again if it wasn’t saved.
  5. Log your first mealIn the Claude app, say “I had two eggs and toast for breakfast.” It logs the meal with calories and macros to your Forkmate diary.

Or add it by URL

If you can’t find Forkmate in the directory, add it as a custom connector instead.

https://mcp.forkmate.ai/
  1. Add a custom connector. In Customize → Connectors, click Add custom connector and paste https://mcp.forkmate.ai/. Leave the OAuth fields empty: Claude identifies itself automatically.
  2. Connect and sign in. Click Add, then Connect on the Forkmate connector, and sign in to Forkmate once. On Team and Enterprise an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors first.

What you need

  • A free Forkmate account (sign up). There is no paid plan.
  • Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Free accounts can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors, then you click Connect.
  • Adding a connector from inside the mobile app is in beta, so connect it on the web or in Claude Desktop.

Checked against these sources: Claude help: use connectors, Claude docs: add a connector by URL, Claude docs: install links. Claude Mobile changes its menus often; if yours looks different, trust what it shows.

What to say first

Talk to Claude Mobile the way you’d tell a friend:

  • “Log a flat white and a banana.”
  • “How many calories have I had today?”
  • “Make the toast two slices.”
  • “What did I eat this week?”

It logs the meal with calories, protein, carbs and fat to your diary at app.forkmate.ai.

Good to know in Claude Mobile

  • You can browse Claude’s connector directory in the Claude apps for iOS and Android.

Forkmate shortcuts

Forkmate comes with ready-made requests for the everyday jobs: log a meal, fix the last entry, see what’s left today, log your usual, hit your protein, a weekly check-in. We haven’t found MCP shortcuts (prompts) in Claude Mobile’s menus or documentation, so type or paste the request instead.

  • Log a meal (log-meal)
“Log this to my Forkmate diary: two eggs and toast with butter”
  • Fix my last entry (fix-last-entry)
“Fix the last thing I logged in Forkmate: it was 2 eggs, not 3”
  • What's left today (today-so-far)
“Show me today so far in Forkmate: my calories, protein, carbs and fat.”
  • Log my usual (log-my-usual)
“Log my usual breakfast to Forkmate.”
  • Hit my protein today (hit-protein)
“How much protein have I had today in Forkmate, and how far am I from my target of 120 g? Suggest a few foods for my remaining meals and snacks that would close the gap, using my food profile and the foods I usually eat.”
  • Weekly check-in (week-review)
“Give me a check-in on my last 7 days in Forkmate (get_range): calories, protein, carbs and fat per day and on average, how many days I logged, and the foods I ate most.”
  • Move my MyFitnessPal history (import-myfitnesspal)
“How do I move my food diary history from MyFitnessPal to Forkmate? Walk me through exporting my data for free and importing it with the guided importer described at https://forkmate.ai/migrate-from-myfitnesspal/. Don't log anything yet.”

Shortcut or not, Forkmate sends Claude Mobile the same logging rules when it connects: log your own words, keep your amounts, and look foods up before estimating.

Fueling for a run or ride

With Strava’s own connector added in Claude Mobile as well, Claude Mobile can read your training there and your food in Forkmate, side by side. Forkmate doesn’t sync with Strava or Garmin and never receives your activities.

  • Help me fuel for a PR on my local route. Use Strava to look at the route and my best efforts on it, and Forkmate to read my food diary for the last week. Ask me what you need first.
  • How have I been eating, and how should I fuel for a 10K? Read the last 14 days of my Forkmate diary, and use Strava to look at my recent runs. Ask me the race date and anything else you need.
  • What should I eat before, during and after my long ride? Use Strava to look at my most similar recent rides, and Forkmate to read what I've eaten the last three days. Ask me what you need first.

More, including Garmin through Apple Health and a free Claude Skill: Use Forkmate with Strava or Garmin.
